OUR MISSION
- Our mission at Steve's club is to provide excellent coaching, community, support, and guidance to the young athletes (aspiring for greatness) of Camden, NJ. On a broader scale, our goal is to create a positive place for young people to go to just "get away from it all." A contagious community that brings state-of-the-art coaching techniques to the talented athlete in Camden who haven't access to current technologies, research and and coaching methods. Fitness that is fun, challenging yet highly effective. But you know, talk is cheap. Rather than just tell you about the merits of our club, we cordially invite you to come over and see for yourself what Steve's Club is all about.

- With childhood obesity quickly becoming an epidemic, encouraging children to be active and enjoy physical activity is imperative in setting the stage for a healthy future. This is where Steve’s Club comes to the rescue. It is our position at Steve’s Club that your physical strength and health has nothing to do with the size of your house, nothing to do with how much money you have, nothing to do with the car you drive, nothing to do with the clothes you wear, and nothing to do with the town you are from. It has very little to do with the genes you adopted from birth. Instead, your physical capacity and athletic success has everything to do with effort, hard work and commitment. Dedicating yourself to a champion fitness program that improves the potential to achieve excellence not only in sport but in life. Chasing greatness is what we are about, not who we are. Effort, Hard Work and Commitment is the name of the game. Not only do these traits define our Character but they also increase our physical capacity, our fitness level, our athletic ability, our performance, and our appearance. But we’re doing more than just getting Camden’s finest young athlete’s fitter, stronger and more powerful for their chosen sport, we’re providing young people a safe place to “get away from it all.” A chance for self-improvement and empowerment. An escape path from the prison of everyday life. A support network to share ideas, stories, and experiences with others. Hope for a better future and a “I can do it” attitude. A vision for success. The kids would be truly grateful for a generous donation as such.
MESSAGE FROM STEVE
The greatest discovery any alien outsider could make about Camden is its overriding response to failure: If it didn’t work last year, do it AGAIN this year (and if possible do it MORE).
Every year they pass more laws, hire more police, build more prisons, and sentence more offenders for longer periods-all without moving one inch closer to “ending” crime. If it didn’t work last year or the year before that or the year before that or the year before that, but you can be sure we’ll try it again this year, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that it won’t work this year either.
Every year they spend more money on schools, hoping to “fix” whatever’s wrong with them, and every year the schools remain stubbornly unfixed. Every year they try to make the criminals go away, and every year they remain with us. We couldn’t shoehorn these criminals back into the “the mainstream” last year or the year before that or the year before that or the year before that, but you can be sure we’ll try it again this year, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that it won’t work this year either.
Maybe its time to TRY something DIFFERENT.
Afterall, IF Camden is saved, it will not be saved by old minds with new programs but by new minds with no programs at all.
