"Randy"
75 Power Snatches for time, 75 lbs. (scaled as needed)
I am very excited to share the news that I am sending
Charlie (one of our first members of Steve's Club) to get his Level I CrossFit certification at CrossFit Montclair in October. I
strongly believe that Charlie will become a great trainer someday (he already is!) and a great example and
leader for the other kids to follow. As you can imagine, Charlie is very excited
about this opportunity as well and is ready to set the world on fire with his spark.
You can also keep an eye on Charlie at next year's CrossFit Games qualifier. Charlie has been working extremely hard at his training and very determined to make a name for himself in the CrossFit community.
Charlie had the good fortune to watch and meet Chris Spealler from CrossFit Park City last year at the Games in Aromas, California and has since then used Chris's (Speal) as a source of motivation for his own training. Speal has proven that you don't have to be a big guy to be out there with the big boys. You just need a lot of guts, a big heart, a relentless drive to succeed, and a dynamic work ethic and work capacity to succeed at the workouts. Not to mention the ability to do 106 consecutive pullups.
