"If you want to improve your life, you must improve yourself."
Every class I ask a different athlete to lead the warmup. The reason is simple: To give kids an opportunity to take charge and lead their fellow peers. While the task to lead a warmup seems rather simple on paper, most kids find it rather challenging. Even the most outgoing ones, start to get all giggly and shy when surrounded by a big group of other kids. But leading warmup creates a great learning tool and opportunity for kids to speak up, take charge and assume a leadership role. Over time, most kids enjoy a nice confidence boost and it becomes obvious in how they instruct the warmup.
