Everyday a new teen walks in to try CrossFit and for the many who discover it, a good portion quickly falls in love and tells all their family and friends about it.
Each youngster who comes in to train with us, also brings with them their own life story made up of their past experiences. While some have it better than others, the vast majority of the kids at SC come from very tough neighorboods and have been raised in very economically depressed, single parent families. This is just how it is.
Despite the hardships and challenges most of them face on a daily basis, rarely does someone walk in with an attitude problem or a chip on their shoulder as if they are owed something in life.
These kids know it is up to themselves to create write their own story book and the choices they make today will determine who they become tomorrow.
I remind them from the start and try to make it abundantly clear: No one is going to just give you something for nothing. Everything is earned. If you want to train here, you better be willing to put in the work and pay for it through your committment, dedication and the amount of effort you put into it.
While the past is already written and etched in stone, it is each and everyone of yours responsibility to create the future you want.

Positive attitude plays an important role in life. Practice makes people perfect, which makes them to lead a happy life.
