"Smiling, like happiness, is contagious. And I as a happy person stride to do this daily. Sometimes I find myself smiling at strangers out of habit. Most times people look away, but sometimes that stranger smiles back. And although I probably will never see that stranger again, I probably just made that strangers day. Having people smile at you, forces you to smile. Actions precede feelings. If we smile enough, one day that smile becomes genuine. That genuine smile turns to happiness and before you know it our lives are flipped upside down. But smiling at people who are already happy is the easy way out, when you see someone who looks unhappy, or miserable, smile at them. Those are usually the people who have given up smiling. They helped so many people out with so many disappointments. Lend them a smile, and you just might change their day which can perhaps change their lives."
